Content Theft

If you are scouring the internet for content to use in any type of publication, before you copy and paste any of our writing into your work and claim it as your own, educate yourself on intellectual property rights and plagiarism. Plagiarism, also called content theft, is when you copy a person's idea or writing and then present it as your own without crediting the original source. Copying a writer's work and then rewording it (paraphrasing) does not make it original writing. Stealing content is ethically wrong, and if the plagiarism infringes on a writer’s intellectual property rights, there could be legal ramifications.
