While some historical events, such as the creation of the White Mountain National Forest on May 16, 1918, still benefits us today, many have been forgotten about. This work focuses on historical events that happened during each month of the year.

May - White Mountains of New Hampshire
Scenes of May, White Mountains - The snow is gone here in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, and I have finally stored my snowshoes and traction devices for the season. Cascade - Kancamagus Highway, New Hampshire Scenes of April, New Hampshire- Most of New England is snow free, but here in the White Mountains of New Hampshire we still have plenty of snow. Mount Washington recently got six inches of snow. And off trail travel in some areas of the White Mountains still requires snowshoes. The snow is melting fast though. I love the month of April for two reasons. The first reason is brooks and rivers are usually roaring, ...

Roaring River Memorial Nature Trail - White Mountains, New Hampshire Scenes of November, White Mountains - It is hard to believe November is almost in the books. The autumn shooting season is officially done here in the New Hampshire White Mountains, and winter is knocking at the door. I find November to be one of the stranger months in the photography industry. As the holidays approach, the photo industry slows down some. Publishing companies will be shutting down for Thanksgiving, ...

I did go out and shoot a few subjects, but for the most part I have been playing catchup in the office and getting ready for the autumn foliage season, which has ...
