Pinkham Notch, New Hampshire – Planning a photography trip to Pinkham Notch is rewarding anytime of year, but I have to suggest the autumn season when the New Hampshire landscape is exploding with beautiful foliage. The foliage is incredible and worth the visit even if you have no interest in photography!

March's Super Worm Moon
March 2011 "Super Worm" full moon – Hope everyone had a chance to see the March "Super Worm" full moon. The above scene is was from along the Kancamagus Highway in the White Mountains of New Hampshire USA.
There were no interesting foreground subjects and with some pretty good wind gusts, I decided to focus on only the moon and not mess around with slow shutter speeds (needed to get some foreground detail). It was amazing to see the moon orange!
