ScenicNH Photography, based in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, is a rights-managed environmental stock photography library representing the work of professional photographer, writer, and author Erin Paul Donovan. We specialize in environmental conservation and historic preservation photography, mainly in the White Mountains region of New Hampshire. And our photography, research, and writing focuses on the history of the White Mountains, and telling the story of abandoned places and forgotten historical sites.

Our image archive consists of abandoned and forgotten sites, adventure, conservation, documentary, history and culture, nature, weather, waterfalls, and landscape scenes of the New Hampshire White Mountains and New England region.

About the Photographer

Since 1998, Erin Paul, a New Hampshire native, has been creating unique and inspirational images that showcase New Hampshire's landscape. Most of his photography work centralizes on the White Mountains’ past, and he has written two books: the East Branch & Lincoln Railroad (2018) and Franconia Notch (2024). Exploring New Hampshire his entire life, Erin Paul has ascended Mount Washington over 100 times, and unofficially (never filled out the paperwork) completed a number of the hiking lists, including the New Hampshire 48 4,000 footers and the 52 With a View, multiple times. In 2003, he stopped keeping track of hikes.
