Baldwin Steam Locomotive, New Hampshire – This 1911 Baldwin 0-6-0 steam locomotive is on display at the Grand Trunk Railroad Museum in Gorham, New Hampshire USA. These old locomotives look so cool, and I really enjoy photographing them. If time permitted, I would spend hours shooting all the different angles.
One of the long term projects I am working on involves the old historical railroads and these old steam locomotives fit in perfectly. These locomotives played important roles during the historical railroading days.

My Grandfather Harry L Collins worked at New England Gas & Coke works in Everett, MA as a locomotive engineer in 1911 when this locomotive was delivered from Baldwin Locomitive works in Philadelphia. So I have to assume he ran it. My uncle Joe used to ride along as a boy. After Graduating from UMASS in 1974 I got a job in the B&M Signal Dept, and 10.5 years later I became a Signal &Train Control Inspecctor for the FRA. Retired after almost 31 years. No idea this locomtive was here in Gorham.
